Mariia’s family fled their home country of Ukraine during the Russian invasion, which has taken the lives of more than 42,000 people. They were forced to leave their business behind and search for a new home in a safe location. Coming into America, they had very little and had to start building their new life from scratch. Fortunately, their community stepped up and helped them rent a new house. The only problem? The large house was completely empty of the furniture and decorations needed to transform the space into a family home. DwD furnished their residence with beautiful, comforting items, which will help them to heal from this traumatic experience and rebuild their lives.
