More exciting news from Dwell with Dignity! Â We have been struggling with finding the space for all of our fabulous donations, and have also been struggling to raise funds for our growth. Â It was a bit of a no-brainer to decide to sell some of these items -AT GREAT PRICES- to reduce inventory and fund our growth.
Additionally, our greatest supporters in the interior design industry have been asking us how they can help. Â Thrift Studio has been the answer! Â Often times, designers and showrooms have items that are either discontinued, slightly damaged, or simply don’t meet their needs when they arrive from the manufacturer.
This is the perfect opportunity for a donation to Dwell with Dignity.  Most times, these items are not appropriate for the apartments we decorate because they are simply too high-end.  Their finishes and workmanship require a more sophisticated arena. Â
The Dallas Morning News wrote about this hair on hide chair donated by David Cadwallader ( photo by Mona Reeder). Â Expect to find it at 50% off wholesale prices. Â We will have so many great items to fit ANY budget. Â But, if you are looking for a designer piece at a DEEP discount, come to the preview party on September 30th from 6-9. Â Dwell with Dignity members get a 10% discount- ALWAYS. Â If you not a member, go here now to become one. Â Not only will you get a discount at Thrift Studio, you will be supporting families in need. Â $25 at the door- all proceeds benefit DwD.Â
You are going to love the vignettes that have been designed by Dallas’ top interior designers. Â Here is a sneak peak of items in their vignettes…some of them are more complete than others so make sure to come and see the final presentation!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, DwD announces our partnership with Peacock Alley! Â In the heart of the store you will find a pop-up within a pop-up. Â Peacock Alley will bring their luxury linens to you at discount prices. Â Shop samples, one-offs and discontinued items. Â You won’t find more luxurious sheets. Â Peacock Alley sets the standard.
Thrift Studio will be open at 1616 Hi Line in the Dallas Design District from October 1-29. Â Hours are 10 to 5:30 Monday through Saturday. Â Thanks to all of the showrooms, designers, volunteers and community members who have donated their time and items to make this venture a success!
