The following questions are designed to get you thinking about what it will take to establish a Dwell with Dignity Chapter in your city. DwD is very closely aligned with the interior design industry, and it is essential that strong ties are developed within the community for success. Non-profit experience is a plus but not a requirement. Fundraising for your chapter is expected at a local level.
Examples of committees to be thinking about:
Dwell with Dignity is currently working on creating an Operations Manual to allow for the establishment of chapters in Design Hub cities around the country. We have made great gains since our founding and due to the extreme interest on a national level, we are dedicated to making this opportunity available to others. Provisional chapters will be required to raise funds for their chapter. A percentage of all fundraising will be remitted to DwD Home Office to offset the costs involved, and provide infrastructure guidance, operations manuals, IT and website set up, oversight and professional fees.
Interested parties will be interviewed and required to volunteer at a Dwell with Dignity install in Dallas at their expense.
