At Dwell with Dignity, we are always celebrating lives being transformed through design with every project we complete and this year, we have a little more to celebrate as our Founder and President Lisa Robison and Vice President Kim Turner were accepted the ASID Design for Humanity Award of behalf of DwD at the ASID National Awards 2016. Both Lisa and Kim attended the gala “Celebration 2016” in Minneapolis, Minnesota and were honored on stage for the positive impact and transformation their design work has accomplished for families in need since 2009.

We were honored to have Scout design a vignette for Thrift Studio 2016 in Dallas and today, we want to inspire you with the amazing vignette they created to support our mission to help families escape poverty and homelessness through design.
What’s black and white and red all over? Not your newspaper, but the classic Thrift Studio vignette created by the talented Stephen Dunn of Stephen Dunn Designs and Kravet. Mr. Dunn not only inspired us with his bold use of color and creative touches, including branches hanging from the ceiling, throughout the vignette, but he also shared his passion for writing with playful poetry that summed up his experience participating in our annual fundraiser event.
Go big or go home – literally. We are excited to feature one of the largest vignettes in the history of Thrift Studio designed by the very talented Brant McFarlain of R. Brant Design who partnered with Jean De Merry. Brant and his design team basically built an entire home at Thrift Studio! Preview Party guests were amazed and swooned over all the amazing finds featured in the space.
