The families we help are dedicated to changing their lives by learning to become self-sufficient. These families will reside in single-family homes and apartments that are provided by social service agencies or attained with the assistance of such agencies. Families must be able to remain in these homes for at least one year so they have the opportunity to absorb the impact of their environment.
We find our families by working with existing social service organizations that have programs in place to help struggling families attain self sufficiency. Agencies must have accountability- based programs that address housing, education, career, finance, life skills and children’s needs. Organizations that are approved by our board may nominate families in need.
